Although the success of last year’s event barely seems a year ago, NU Digital 2014 is ready for re-launch! This year we\u2019re back again with more cutting edge technology, top tips and toys for you to play with. The events is for all staff – research, teaching, and services – as well as PGR students; so whether you\u2019re a digital native or a recent digital immigrant, come along and find out more.<\/p>\n
As well as seeing some of the new and exciting ways digital technology is put to use in the University’s Research Centres – those who attended last year might remember the 3D printer creating a replica axe head from an archaeological dig, or the stroke rehab video game to improve coordination – we’ll also be looking at how technology can benefit both your working and home life.<\/p>\n
There\u2019ll be a range of bite size 10 minute talks on topics ranging from social media to useful apps to longer 30 minute workshops. As usual there\u2019ll also be plenty of drop in activities and a variety of stands from cross-campus departments & services offering the chance to see some of the\u00a0latest developments.
