An \u2018<strong>ally<\/strong>\u2019 is someone who is not minoritised by ethnicity but has privilege or power and the choice to stand for and with marginalised&nbsp;staff&nbsp;by taking tangible, ongoing actions to support their cause in dismantling systems of disadvantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Why join NU-REN?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The issues of racial inequalities, that persist in our society and at educational institutions, are a reality for many staff members, post-graduate students, and early career researchers. Joining the network is one way to<strong> get support<\/strong> on these matters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to push forward and<strong> gain resources <\/strong>on racial equity, then joining the network can be extremely beneficial for you.
