Yoga and writing
Date and time: 27 November 2019 from 2-4pm
Location: Barbara Strang Teaching Centre 2.51

Led by Professor Kate Chedgzoy, this session will be the first of three ‘Yoga and writing’ events. Yoga is often recommended as a counterbalance to negative effects of work, calming stress and soothing tired shoulders and aching backs. This workshop combines gentle, exploratory movement with guided writing exercises to explore whether instead of simply alternating between physical and mental practices, we can bring both together in fruitful ways.
This event suitable for everyone who spends significant time writing as part of their job, and for all levels of yoga practitioners including beginner.
