NU Women is a community for supporting all women employed at Newcastle University. We work with all of our members to ensure the issues important to you are addressed.
The NU Women Steering Group meets regularly throughout the year and works on behalf of our members to feed into institutional structures and implement positive change for women staff. The Steering Group helps to coordinate NU Women’s range of events and initiatives, which are designed to address the key concerns of women staff at Newcastle University, including career development, work/ life balance, and community engagement.
By building active communities and networks, we raise awareness of the issues impacting women in every aspect of the university. Our annual survey helps us to garner feedback from our members and address the issues that are of current relevance to our members.
