We encourage applications from researchers in any discipline, including those where open research is not yet the norm, and who may use qualitative, quantitative or creative practice methodologies.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners will be announced at a celebration event and presented with a bespoke award created by the University&#8217;s glass blowing workshop, as well as a certificate and letter of commendation to recognise their contribution to building a more open research culture.<br><br><strong>Important Dates (2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submission closes: Nov 7th (17:00)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Panel shortlisting: \u00a0Nov 17th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Celebration event: Nov 24th (12:00-14:00)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/open-research\/awards\">Find out more and apply<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re delighted to announce that the Newcastle University Open Research Awards for 2025 are now open.
