SELLL PG Conference 2022
“Hybridity”

The School of English Literature, Language, and Linguistics (SELLL) invites postgraduate students of all disciplines to submit abstracts for this year’s SELLL Summer Conference, to be held on Thursday 9th June 2022. The conference will exhibit the variety of research taking place across all postgraduate degree programmes in SELLL and will provide a context for conversations between students and staff across the different fields.

The conference aims to encourage discussion across the different areas of study in the school. In light of the blended learning that has merged online and in-person communication, as well as our need to adapt to new ways of working and living, our theme this year is:

Hybridity

We encourage all students at any stage of their postgraduate studies to apply. You will have the opportunity to give a conference paper in a relaxed setting, hear questions and feedback about your research, as well as converse with academics from all career stages.

Students working on literature, linguistics, and/or creative writing are welcome to submit abstracts. This may be on any topic and could be presented as a literature or linguistics paper, a creative reading, or a short performance piece.

The call for papers is now closed.
Thank you for your interest.
