We also welcome reflections on current events.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>How to get involved<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>FIRST<\/strong>, send a quick e-mail to us at <a href=\"mailto:sociologyblog@newcastle.ac.uk\">sociologyblog@newcastle.ac.uk<\/a> with one or two sentences about the event or topic you want to write about and what you plan to say.<\/li><li>We\u2019ll let you know if we think it\u2019s right for the blog and give you feedback on your ideas and angle. We\u2019ll also discuss some potential headlines for your blog at this stage, so you know what to aim for.<\/li><li>We\u2019ll agree a deadline that works for everyone involved. You can then write your 600-800 word blog.<\/li><li>Once you\u2019ve submitted your blog, we\u2019ll review and edit it.
