Information on the Department is available here:\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/philosophy\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/philosophy\/about\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More generic information from the university as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2020,\nLeverhulme Trust will re-open the scheme for applications to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leverhulme.ac.uk\/early-career-fellowships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowships<\/a>.&nbsp;\nThis scheme offers 50% match-funding for salary costs of three-year academic\nresearch position for an early career researcher to undertake a significant\npiece of publishable work.&nbsp; This opportunity aims to provide&nbsp;<strong>career\ndevelopment<\/strong>&nbsp;for those who are at a relatively early stage of their\nacademic careers, but who have&nbsp;<strong>a proven record of research<\/strong>.&nbsp;\nApproximately 100 fellowships will be available each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Philosophical\nStudies can nominate one candidate from all the applications they receive, to\nbe put forward for support by the central university.
