I will look to give possible explanations of social deviance based upon the philosophical thought I am going to look at. \u2022 General idea of deviance &#8211; any act which goes against the social norms or laws of a particular society. \u2022 Common explanation found for the greater prevalence of deviance in lower working class groups &#8211; harder for the individuals in the lower classes to fulfil their potential in society.
