I aim to present an account of 2001 that enables easier comprehension of this cinematic feature through philosophical themes.<\/p>\n<p>In 2001: A Space Odyssey Stanley Kubrick exhibits on rapture and the Ubermensch. I will, in my project, present how Kubrick uses colour, sound and cinematography to evoke feelings of rapture. <\/p>\n<p>Focusing on the character Dave Bowman, I reveal how rapture and the overcoming of computers enable humans to delve into the next stage of   Ubermensch. <\/p>\n<p>The project contains breakdowns of the most important scenes of the film in relation to the works of Nietzsche.
