I picked war photographs to emphasise this since it is a reality that many people do not face, particularly in Western Europe. Secondly, I picked war photography because the photographs I&#8217;ve chosen for my project represent other people&#8217;s grief and suffering, and it&#8217;s crucial for society to avoid aestheticizing others&#8217; misery and understand what function they may and should provide.
