This year the crescent moon was spotted on the evening of the 1<sup>st<\/sup> of April marking the first day of Ramadan for the Islamic year of 1443. Sighting for a possible crescent moon that will indicate the end of Ramadan will begin on Saturday night, the 30<sup>th<\/sup> April. This sighting will indicate the beginning of Islamic Eid festivities.
