Following the generous bequest from the estate of Professor John Scott (1931-2012), the winner of the Young Investigator Award is presented with a cheque for \u00a31000, and delivers the \u2018John Scott Lecture\u2019 at one of the biannual meetings of the society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The application deadline for the 2019 award is the 31st July.
