The day is specifically targeted at A-level students considering a career in science. With hands on experiments, interviews with real scientists, students and patients, stimulating debates and presentations, it is designed to help answer all the questions you may have about studying at Newcastle university and about a career in science.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of the day is <strong>\u201cFrom bench to bedside\u201d<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/igmengagement\/files\/2014\/06\/preliminary-agenda_updated.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-631\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/igmengagement\/files\/2014\/06\/preliminary-agenda_updated.jpg\" alt=\"preliminary agenda_updated\" width=\"2380\" height=\"3308\" \/><\/a> We have also organised a similar event in December 2012, you can find more details of it <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/igmengagement\/open-day\/\">here<\/a>.
