{"id":58,"date":"2025-02-26T22:59:40","date_gmt":"2025-02-26T22:59:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/porousarchives\/?p=58"},"modified":"2025-11-10T01:02:01","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T01:02:01","slug":"events","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/porousarchives\/2025\/02\/26\/events\/","title":{"rendered":"2025\/6 events (and publication opportunities)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Porous Archives is a continuing exploration of critical historical geographies <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/porousarchives\/2024\/11\/12\/porous-archives\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"30\">(for more on this idea, please see here<\/a>) and whilst <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/porousarchives\/2025\/11\/10\/porous-archives-2-registration-open-now-12th-december-2025-in-person-and-online\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/porousarchives\/2025\/11\/10\/porous-archives-2-registration-open-now-12th-december-2025-in-person-and-online\/\">Porous Archives 2<\/a> will be the last conference-type event we hold as part of this exploration, there will be other events following<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reading\/writing groups and publication opportunities:<\/strong> throughout 2026 we&#8217;re running a series of hybrid events with participants at these events encouraged to share and develop the ideas presented at Porous Archives 1 and 2 into chapters\/papers for an edited collection as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/hgrg.org.uk\/research-series\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/hgrg.org.uk\/research-series\/\">the HGRG research series<\/a> and\/or a themed issue of a suitable journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to take part in any of these events, please e-mail Paul at <a href=\"mailto:paul.wright3@ncl.ac.uk\" data-type=\"mailto\" data-id=\"mailto:paul.wright3@ncl.ac.uk\">paul.wright3@ncl.ac.uk<\/a> for initial information or check back here&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>February 2026: &#8220;Porous Archives&#8221;
