Hot Chocolate<\/strong><\/p>\n At the church, my wife and I lead a Friday night youth outreach project called Hot Chocolate. Every week we open the church from 7-9pm for 11-18 year olds in the Cramlington area providing free food\/drink, video games, table tennis and more. Our group regularly attracts 80-100 young people per night. Our hope is that all young people will know that there is somebody who loves and cares for them unconditionally and that they eventually begin to develop a relationship with God.<\/p>\n https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HotChocolateStNicks\/<\/a><\/p>\n Worship Leading<\/strong><\/p>\n One of my greatest passions is music and I play acoustic guitar and bass guitar as well as being a lead vocalist. I often lead worship across Newcastle and Northumberland at a number of events and have recently joined a band in Morpeth who regularly lead at a youth event called Liquid. I’ve also recently started songwriting with my wife and the Liquid worship team.\u00a0<\/p>\n Growing Young Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n My wife and I recently started to help run a leadership course with Renew NE, Newcastle Diocese and the URC aimed at helping to grow young people into the future leaders of the church.<\/p>\n http:\/\/renewne.org.uk\/growing-young-leaders<\/a><\/p>\n Staying Alive<\/strong><\/p>\n In the summer of 2019 we joined the team at Staying Alive which is a North-East Christian youth camp every summer. We had a great time this year, I was a part of the worship team and together we also ran a few workshops.
