Where next on our career journeys?
After many months of research, bid writing, meetings, thought, ideas, contacting speakers and putting together the conference programme, we are really excited to be launching Researching our Futures – or RoF as we like to acronym! We have learned a great deal so far about the intricacies and complexities of creating a new conference, and we are looking forward to the event itself on 16th March 2017. When we started out, March 2017 seemed a very distant time and destination, but now we are on the run up to Christmas and then it will be 2017, so RoF will soon be with us! Feels like a metaphor for a PhD – 3 years seems like a long time when you start – but actually life after the PhD is not that far away. RoF will help us all explore opportunities, discover possibilities and consider our career choices post-PhD. So please don’t delay in booking – places are limited!
