The majority of the work over the next fortnight will take place on Level 4 (with the PER 500-570 and 600-690 journals) before we return to Level 3 for the PER 700 journals and onwards…
In addition to the work currently being undertaken in the Robinson Library, there will also be some changes taking place in the Walton Library this summer. Journal and book stock will be rearranged to provide better access to the book stock and provide space for more desks. Some of the older study carrels will also be replaced with new open desk space.

Backruns of journals at PER 010, 020, 028, 030, 070, 100 and 150 have moved to the Research Reserve.
Backruns of journals at PER 200, 300 and 310 will begin moving from today.
Over the next few days, work in the Robinson Library will continue exclusively on Level 3 with the PER 320s and 330s.
Today we’re moving journals at shelfmarks PER 300 (Sociology) on Level 3 and PER 200 (Religion) on Level 4.

Yes, it’s Monday 20th June and we start moving journal stock in the Robinson Library today. We’ll be moving the journals in sequence, which means we’ll be starting on Level 3 with PER 010 (Bibliography), PER 020 (Librarianship), PER 028 (Children’s literature) and PER 030 (General) and on Level 4 with PER 100 (Philosophy) and PER 150 (Psychology).

During the cluster refurbishment in the Robinson Library, the Writing Development Centre will be temporarily located on Level 3, in Room 304, which is close to the Information Desk. If you wish to make an appointment, please complete the online booking form
