Another donation, this time for the Connect25 Foodbank. 6 big bags of clothes, 20 kids party bags, about 40 pot noodles and loads of other food stuffs. Thanks again to everybody who contributed.

Another car load of stuff taken to the homeless charity, Destiny Streetworx.
Crisps, biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sweets etc bought with money from the quiz, and about 100 pot noodles donated by Unilever after a student event. Also clothes, sleeping bags and loads of toiletries donated by you good people – thank you once again!

Roy’s Big Bouncy Bingo Balls 2
Date – 6th July 2018
Time – 6pm
Venue – upstairs in The Junction, Newcastle.
Bingo, Buffet, Raffle, Football cards and Fun!!!
This will be a ticket only event, costing £6 each – this includes 6 games of bingo, buffet and the fun!
Please email me (roy.clark@ncl.ac.uk) with how many tickets you want. Once you let me know how many you want, I’ll let you know how you can pay.
If you would like to contribute a raffle prize, that would be very much appreciated too. Alcohol and chocolates seem to be the most popular. Again, please let me know in advance if you can contribute a raffle prize – I’d like to collect the prizes in May so I can start selling tickets in June. 20 prizes will be reserved for those there on the 1st night. 20 for those attending the 2nd night. 20 will be for the people who buy raffle tickets in advance and the top ten will be available for everyone who buys a raffle ticket.
It would also be brilliant if people could donate an item of food for the foodbank, homeless or cat and dog shelter again – last time we got two full shopping bags of donations.
I will be supporting the same 4 charities as last time;
Connect25 Foodbank
Destiny Streetworx (Homeless)
The People’s Kitchen
Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter
Bingo prizes will consist of scratchcards, sweets, wine and spirits.
Raffle prizes so far include:
Best wishes
Lord Roy of Joyfulness
Bingo Caller and Compere without Compare
Thanks to Melanie Dunnett who donated a load of clothes left over from a jumble sale. I got them to Destiny Streetworx on Saturday teatime who were taking them out just a couple of hours later to distribute to those in need. Given how cold and damp it was and then the snow that followed on Sunday the timing could not have been better.
