Thinking of studying a postgraduate degree in Linguistics or English Language at Newcastle University? Well, look no further!
On behalf of the School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics (SELLL), we held a seminar on 31st March 2022 at 11:00 GMT to give you all of the information you could possibly need on postgraduate study with us.
The seminar covered the various postgraduate degrees in Linguistics and English Language that are on offer, including both Taught (PGT) and Research (PGR) strands. We also gave our top tips on writing a successful application or research proposal – it’s not to be missed!
Then, current students Michael and Sreenidhi described what a day in the life of a postgraduate student looks like from two different perspectives, as well as the many benefits of living in Newcastle.
We understand that not all prospective students are able to make it to the live event, so we have provided a recording of the seminar here. We will also be posting a set of exclusive videos on this website showing you some of our facilities as well as responses to common questions asked during the seminar, so keep an eye out here afterwards, too!
