Also the University has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/students\/enrichment-week\/\">general events, courses and materials<\/a> that take place during enrichment week for you to take part in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">The Literature Speaker Series is open to all UG students<\/span><\/strong><br><strong>An upcoming talk by Grace Lavery (Berkeley) on Tuesday 4th March 2021, 4-5pm via Zoom.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace Lavery (Berkeley), &#8220;Some Objections to the Anti-Pornographic Reading of&nbsp;<em>The Old Curiosity Shop<\/em>&#8220;. These online events aim to help the SELLL community think critically about the value of literature and to reflect on the big questions animating the field of literary studies. Please join us for what promises to be an exciting discussion. Zoom details are below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Newcastle Centre for the Literary Arts<\/span><\/strong><br><strong>Tuesday 11th March 2021 at 7pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NCLA&#8217;s next online event is jointly hosted with the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.poetrybooks.co.uk\/pages\/about-us\" target=\"_blank\">Poetry Book Society<\/a>, featuring&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hadfield_jen?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">Jen Hadfield&nbsp;<\/a>and&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RowanRicardo?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor\" target=\"_blank\">Rowan Ricardo Phillips<\/a>&nbsp;in conversation with SELLL&#8217;s&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/johndchallis\" target=\"_blank\">John Challis<\/a>&nbsp;is on Thursday 11th March at 7pm.&nbsp;To book a place, and view the spring\/summer events programme visit&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/ncla\/\" target=\"_blank\">NCLA<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Covid-19 Living Cost Support Fund<\/span><\/strong><br><strong>Applications close at 5.00pm on Friday 5<sup>th<\/sup> March 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An email has recently been circulated about this Support Fund and how to apply, but there is still time.&nbsp; More details about the Fund, including eligibility criteria and how else you can be supported if you are struggling financially <a href=\"https:\/\/experience.ncl.ac.uk\/support-with-your-finances-2020-21\">can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If at any point you are in need of support and are not sure where to go, remember you can always email <a href=\"mailto:covidsupport@ncl.ac.uk\">covidsupport@ncl.ac.uk<\/a> and the team will be able to signpost you to the right services, be it financial hardship, emergency food supplies or wellbeing support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ACTIVITIES &amp; FURTHER INFORMATION<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Are you a current UG Stage 1 student, worried about finding a flatmate in Stage 2?<\/span><\/strong><br>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/accommodation\/current-students\/reslife\/findaflatmate\/\">ResLife Find a Flatmate Scheme<\/a> is for single students who are looking to&nbsp;share private accommodation, and who wish to join with others to form a group. &nbsp;This service is available to all current first year registered students of Newcastle University. &nbsp;Any second year and above students should contact the Student Advice Centre in NUSU.&nbsp;
