Looking for work experience that fits around your studies? Then we want to hear from you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking to recruit energetic and ambitious students from the school to help on a range of student-focused tasks across the year. If you join the programme, you\u2019d be asked to help with the following kinds of work, paid for your time and have your expenses covered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>1. Induction week assistance for the school office<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Open and Visit Days<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Help with major public events run by the school (ushering, ticketing, administrative support etc.)<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, there\u2019d be no expectation that you worked on every single event and we\u2019d always be working to find ways to fit this around your studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are also looking to recruit a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/media\/wwwnclacuk\/englishliteraturelanguagesandlinguistics\/files\/Role%20information%20-%20Student%20Blogger%202021.docx\">Student Blogger<\/a>. Please read the attached role description to see if this would be something you\u2019d be interested in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be successful, you\u2019ll need to be confident, reliable and self-motivated, have good communication skills and a clear understanding of how our degrees work and the strengths of Newcastle University.
