The Psychological Insights into Coaching Practice Showcase is a free online conference led by Amelia Hooper (Chair – Stage 3 Psychology/Sport and Exercise Science student) and Dr Tracy Donachie (Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology), which will take place for the fourth year on 30th May 2024.
The showcase aims to provide a varied perspective on sports psychology, and how it works in practice by incorporating talks from leading sport psychology researchers, academics, sports psychologists, coaches, athletes, and students. We also have our MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology students delivering workshops and our undergraduate students presenting on their sport and exercise psychology dissertations.
Although the conference is primarily aimed at coaches, it will be beneficial for students, researchers, sports scientists, and anybody else who is interested in understanding and applying psychological principles to real-life settings.
