We have recently acquired access to two more modules:&nbsp;<em>Aerial and Lidar Digimap<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/library\/linkit?sv=o&amp;s=sn&amp;q=61113579190002411\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aerial Digimap&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This provides access to some of the highest quality aerial photography available for Great Britain, created and licensed by Getmapping plc. You can use a range of interactive tools, allowing interrogation and analysis of the data online and offline. You can also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>add annotations (text, point, lines and areas)<\/li>\n<li>identify image capture date by clicking on the map<\/li>\n<li>generate PDF, PNG or JPG files for printing<\/li>\n<li>save maps to go back to or print later<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/library\/linkit?sv=o&amp;s=sn&amp;q=61113579190002411\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lidar Digimap<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1268 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/subject-support\/files\/2018\/11\/lidar_logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"174\" height=\"50\"><\/p>\n<p>This&nbsp;offers detailed Lidar data from the Environment Agency and presents a model of the earth\u2019s surface.<\/p>\n<p>Uses of Lidar data are highly varied, from use in the creation of visual effects for virtual reality and film projects, to archaeology, forestry management, flood and pollution modelling.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to agree to the new licence before using these new modules: please see our separate&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/subject-support\/2018\/08\/24\/new-sites-licences-for-digimap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">blogpost<\/a>&nbsp;for more details.
