It\u2019s definitely worth spending that extra time preparing and doing seminars, so that you can go over these as an exam topic.<\/li><li><strong>Make notes as you go along<\/strong> \u2013 you might not always have time but spend an extra hour or so after the lecture making revision notes, and highlighting the key cases\/points of law. You\u2019ll thank yourself when it comes to exam time.<\/li><li><strong>Make essay plans<\/strong> \u2013 identify the key points of law, and look at past exam papers to see what could be asked.<\/li><li><strong>Identify your weak spots<\/strong> early and go to your tutor\/seminarist\/lecturer to iron them out now. <\/li><li><strong>Don\u2019t rely on preparing topics<\/strong> \u2013 if the exam has 3 questions for you to answer, don\u2019t just learn three topics! Always learn a few more topics than you have to answer. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TOP 5 REVISION RESOURCES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.e-lawresources.co.uk\/\">Elawresources<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 good case summaries to break down the points of law in really basic terms.<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/learnmore.lawbore.net\/\">Learnmore: Expand your legal mind<\/a><\/strong> &#8211;  has everything from preparation to moots, to videos and presentations! <\/li><li><strong>Concentrate Revision Guides<\/strong> \u2013 these cost around \u00a35-10 each but really break down key points of law.<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bailii.org\/\">BAILII<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 British and Irish Legal Information Institution.<\/li><li><strong>Lecture revision sessions<\/strong> \u2013 most lecturers will put these on, but make the most of them by emailing\/preparing in advance what topic\/area you\u2019d like to see covered. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Good luck in your exams, they\u2019ll be over before you know it!\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi I\u2019m Caitlin, and as a final year law student I would say I\u2019m used to exams by now!
