Read about <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/sustainability\/2025\/10\/13\/introducing-your-25-26-nusu-ethics-environment-rep\/\">our most recent rep<\/a> here. <br><br><strong>What&nbsp;does&nbsp;the&nbsp;role&nbsp;involve?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chair and lead a Student Environment and Sustainability Committee (SESC) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent the SESC and wider student body as the student representative on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/executive\/assets\/environment-and-sustainability-committee\/\">Sustainability Committee<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support environmental campaigns and activities (e.g. Student Sustainability Week) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support Union events and provide a handover for your successor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with officers, staff, societies and student groups to improve sustainable practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend relevant Union meetings, committees and training, and report back on progress.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested? The SESC aims to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Gather feedback<\/strong> to take to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/executive\/assets\/environment-and-sustainability-committee\/\">University\u2019s Sustainability Committee (SC)<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Understand<\/strong> student priorities regarding sustainability. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The SESC is chaired by the <a href=\"https:\/\/nusu.co.uk\/student-voice\/reps\/ethics\">Ethics and Environment Rep<\/a> and is attended by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Environment &amp; Sustainability (E&amp;S) Reps<\/strong> from all academic schools &#8211; this position is open to anyone, just ask about the position at your school at the start of each academic year!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainability concerned <strong>society committee members<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Any interested students <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested?
