Our mission is to undertake oral health research with direct relevance to patients or to the health of the public by generating new scientific knowledge to improve oral disease prevention and patient care relevant to societal need.<\/p>\n Our\u00a0research<\/a> focuses on understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms of oral and related diseases and on the evaluation of clinical, community and economic strategies to improve oral health. Our Dental Biomaterials research informs advances in restorative and surgical practice. We are committed to translating our internationally recognized scientific research excellence into practice to inform clinical dentistry, dental public health and the wider health care agenda.<\/p>\n The newly built\u00a0Dental Clinical Research Facility (CRF)<\/a>, is the focus for our clinical research.
