The colloqium will be held in the Armstrong Building<\/strong>, which is located at the centre of Newcastle’s main campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will take place in the third floor of this building, in room ARM 3.38<\/strong>. The room is accessible either by the central stairwell, or the lifts. On the day, we will signpost directions to the room from both these locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessibility <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The venue for the colloquium is located a 10-15 minute (slightly uphill) walk from Newcastle Central Station. If travelling directly from the station, you may wish to get a taxi from the taxi rank located outside the station<\/a>. Alternatively, you can book a taxi in advance through one of the local taxi service companies (e.g. Newcastle Taxis<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The room the colloqium will be held in is located on a third floor, but the building is fully accessible, and includes a lift and accessible toilet facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those attending remotely, the colloquium will be held on Zoom, which features accessibility features like live captioning. More information on this will be shared closer to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
