And for my first post of 2017, I thought I&#8217;d bring you something a little different &#8211; a video! Here it is:<\/p>\n<h3>The Vital North Partnership (+19 other ways Newcastle University and Seven Stories are collaborating)<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rRXs4ID8ikI?start=6&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In 2016,\u00a0I presented this\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pechakucha.org\/\">Pecha Kucha<\/a> about the Vital North Partnership between <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/\">Newcastle University<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sevenstories.org.uk\/\">Seven Stories: The National Centre for Children&#8217;s Books<\/a>\u00a0at two events;\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ahrc.ac.uk\/\">Arts and Humanities Research Council\u2019s<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ahrccommons.org\/common-ground-event\/\">Common Ground<\/a> event in June, and Newcastle University\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/hss\/impact\/events.htm\">Working Together: Bringing About Change<\/a> event in November. Both events explored collaborations and engagement in the humanities.<\/p>\n<p>Pecha Kuchas are short, visual presentations. As you talk, you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. Your slides change automatically. And they\u2019re more than a little tricky to deliver&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>The Vital North Partnership (+ 19 other ways Newcastle University and Seven Stories are collaborating)<\/em> is exactly what the title suggests: a presentation about 20 current Partnership projects. And what are those projects?
