Then have a look at the new <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/childrensliteratureinnewcastle\/\">Children&#8217;s Literature in Newcastle blog!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s written and maintained by postgraduate students and staff from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/elll\/research\/literature\/childrens\/\">Newcastle University&#8217;s Children&#8217;s Literature Unit Graduate Group<\/a><\/strong><strong>. Subjects are likely to include career novels, Noel Streatfeild, Mabel Esther Allan and, for local interest, Lorna Hill and Elinor M Brent-Dyer, the author of the Chalet School books.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favourite Seven Stories experience:<\/strong> Chatting to staff about the exciting treasures in the archive and plans for the future.<\/p>\n<h3>Lucy Stone<\/h3>\n<p><strong>First Children\u2019s Literature in Newcastle blog post:<\/strong> Imagining Wordsworth<\/p>\n<p><strong>I plan to blog about: <\/strong>A workshop on archival research for doctoral students held by the Wordsworth Trust and Northern Bridge at Dove Cottage and the Jerwood Centre in the gorgeous Lakes village of Grasmere.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favourite Seven Stories experience: <\/strong>Every experience at Seven Stories is my favourite!
