If so, then I hope you&#8217;ve found it a useful tool to\u00a0help\u00a0<strong>keep content up to date<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Inventory module<\/strong> is another function of Siteimprove that we think you&#8217;ll find useful when\u00a0reviewing website content and assets.<\/p>\n<p>You might want to\u00a0<strong>locate a document<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>telephone number<\/strong>\u00a0on your website or need help\u00a0with <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/web\/2015\/11\/10\/de-cluttering-your-website-how-to-prepare-for-go-mobile\/\">decluttering your website to prepare for Go Mobile<\/a>. The inventory module can help with this.<\/p>\n<h2>How to use the Inventory module<\/h2>\n<p>Siteimprove&#8217;s Inventory module provides an <strong>overview of all content on your site<\/strong> including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pages<\/li>\n<li>links and link text<\/li>\n<li>documents<\/li>\n<li>media files<\/li>\n<li>scripts<\/li>\n<li>personal information eg email addresses and telephone numbers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You\u2019ll find a <strong>link to the Inventory<\/strong> in the left-hand panel of your <strong>Siteimprove report<\/strong>. You can also sort documents<strong> within each column<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For example, you can <strong>sort the &#8216;last time modified&#8217; column<\/strong> to find out\u00a0when a document\u00a0was <strong>last uploaded to your site.\u00a0<\/strong>This is useful to help you decide if an asset should be\u00a0<strong>updated or removed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You can also see<strong>\u00a0where a\u00a0document is linked from<\/strong>\u00a0on your site and from here click through to view the document link in the page.
