We\u2019re planning for the go live of sites on 29 July!<\/p>\n<p>Fen has been busy working on the School of Mathematics and Statistics website. It is now\u00a0in T4 and is being\u00a0edited.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew has been building a new site in T4 to showcase the work of our\u00a0CardioVascular Research Centre.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s also been redeveloping the Institute of Cellular Medicine\u2019s website. The focus is on restructuring their research pages.<\/p>\n<p>Emily is\u00a0working with the Northern Institute for Cancer Research to get their content ready.\u00a0 She is also working on the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials website. They are currently in the pre-migration template \u2013 ready to move into T4 next week.<\/p>\n<p>Emma has been working with the Business School to get their site on track to go live in this batch.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa has the Chemistry site audited and in its pre-migration phase.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re already planning for batch 4 too.\u00a0 It never stops!<\/p>\n<h3>Site reviews<\/h3>\n<p>We\u2019re planning to return to sites that have been through the Go Mobile programme. We&#8217;re aiming to review around six months after launch. We&#8217;ll be looking at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>site performance<\/li>\n<li>broken links and spelling errors<\/li>\n<li>last updates<\/li>\n<li>whether it meets\u00a0content standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fen has started a review of the Research website.\u00a0Andrew has also reviewed the Institute for Sustainability\u2019s website.\u00a0We&#8217;ll be reporting back in due course on further site reviews.<\/p>\n<h2>Design and Technical developments<\/h2>\n<p>The tech team are working on requirements for Batch 3 and 4 sites.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s been a lot of work on the Clearing campaign particularly around\u00a0analytics. \u00a0This has been keeping them out of mischief!<\/p>\n<h2>Training and support<\/h2>\n<p>We ran a successful web community event on Monday, which got together around 10 web editors \u2013 new and old!<\/p>\n<p>We covered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>where we\u2019re at with Go Mobile<\/li>\n<li>a show and tell (new features in T4)<\/li>\n<li>a World Caf\u00e9 \u2013 an open forum for feedback on T4<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019ll be writing a further blog post on this soon.<\/p>\n<p>Anne delivered T4 CMS Basics training. Jane and Fen delivered our Planning and Writing Web Content workshop.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve received <strong>43<\/strong> support requests through the NU Service Helpdesk and have resolved <strong>18<\/strong> of them.<\/p>\n<h2>Plans for the next few weeks<\/h2>\n<p>Our focus for the next few weeks is finishing off Batch 3 and preparing for Batch 4!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Go Mobile programme Batches 3 and 4 The team is well into Batch 3 of the Go Mobile programme.
