Use of Robinson Library Foyer (and tables outside the Library)

We have had a lot of queries about booking the foyer and provision of tables for events outside the Library since Christmas, particularly since the Student Union has been closed. In order to try and keep track of what is happening, I have opened a directory entitled Foyer Bookings in G:/All/Bookings/2011/booking sheets. Everyone should be able to look at the booking sheet (please let me know if you cannot) but entries will be made by the Office staff as all bookings should come through the Office to ensure that necessary permissions have been given, that we do not have any multiple bookings and that all enquirers receive a consistent message.
Please can all Library staff who want to book the foyer let the Office have full details as far in advance as possible so that they can book it for you. They will also enter your event onto the Events section of the Library web pages. Please ask anyone who is not a member of Library staff and who enquires about using the foyer or tables outside the Library, to send an email with full details to: J.A.Rankin@ncl.ac.uk.
