During our pursuit on the role of PD-1 on Treg biology, we stumbled upon another regulatory pathway that PD-1 is involved in.

We found PD-1 regulated a subset of Innate Immune Cells (KLRG1+ ILC2s)

Ahh..the joy of science!!

Ofcourse! we pursued the observation and found that blocking PD-1 during helminth infections increased KLRG1+ILC2 function.

The paper was just accepted in Journal of Experimental Medicine a week ago!
