What possible genetic futures can we imagine? Is life a material that we can shape? Does identity begin with the body? Is kinship more than family?
Black Box is a pop-up cinema exploring these and other questions over four themed weeks of short films shown in the foyer of the Institute of Genetic Medicine. The programme showcases creative films by artists and researchers that provide a fascinating insight into genetic research and the research that takes place within the Institute.
Black Box is a joint project by The Cultural Negotiation of Science and the Institute of Genetic Medicine.
