The Last Coal Extraction in Newcastle

Whilst walking around the site of the new Newcastle University Business School building we gazed over a massive area of cleared ground behind the glistening new construction. I mentioned a performance from the last AV festival by artist who brought people onto the site to witness the extraction of coal in order to make the ground a sound foundation for the new huge building projects planned there.
