A significant driver behind The Future of Civic Culture in the UK? project was the desire to get industry perspectives from those working in public museums/parks/libraries/leisure centres about how they felt austerity was impacting their civic role.

In addition to soliciting interviews from those working in these sectors, we also put a call out more generally to ask people to send us their thoughts for incorporation onto this blog. Key questions that we asked potential contributors to respond to on included:

• How has austerity impacted civic culture in the UK/your sector/your organisation?
• What impact has austerity had on inclusion, equality and diversity within your sector/organisation?
• What do you think the future of civic culture might be in the UK for your sector?
