About Technology Risk Services
Technology Risk Services deals directly with all risks involved with using business technology. Here, you’ll be able to balance your interest in consulting with your love of technology. It’s one of the most exciting teams, giving you exposure to up-to-date technologies used by dynamic organisations across the UK and further afield.
As part of the technology risk services team, you will be working with private and public sector clients, and you’ll need to have the ability to think strategically and see the big picture as well as focus on the technical elements and drill down to the relevant detail for the client you’re working on. You will deliver solutions that will enable clients to strengthen internal controls, implement sound organisational strategies, increase technological capabilities and improve their operational efficiency. You’ll need to balance a passion for business with a passion for technology to help our clients unlock their potential for growth.
What you’ll be doing
As a graduate trainee, you will play an active role in the technology risk services team. You will work with a mixture of large and small IT teams, and use your expertise to assist other areas of the firm in interrogating and analysing clients’ data.
You will be expected to:
– conduct research for input into proposals as needed
– produce advice for clients on IT best practice
– work individually or in a team to review IT controls
– review clients’ systems in order to analyse data
– perform and document field work in line with the firm’s methodologies
