Role Overview
G2M Testing Ltd is exploring ways to integrate Data Management and, where applicable, Artificial Intelligence (AI) into our business processes to enhance efficiency in areas such as reporting, invoicing, productivity tracking, performance monitoring, and supplier communication. in areas such as reporting, invoicing, productivity tracking, performance monitoring, and supplier communication. To support this initiative, we are offering a 12-month placement opportunity for a talented student to develop and implement AI-driven and data management solutions that improve our operational workflows.
This placement will provide the student with hands-on experience in AI, data science, and data management projects while making a tangible impact on our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on issuance of real-time data capture on-site.
- Assist in the integration of AI-driven and data management solutions into our existing Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to enhance automation and efficiency.
- Develop automated processes for data entry using tablets at workstations to streamline result recording into Excel and LIMS.
- Work on automating and integrating invoicing processes to improve accuracy and reduce manual input.
- Implement AI and data management features within LIMS to enable automated client updates, issue flagging, and sample progress tracking.
- Support the automation of scheduling, sample tracking, and workload monitoring to ensure effective resource allocation and deadline management.
- Design and set up interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights into business performance.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand their workflow challenges and propose AI or data management-based solutions.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and efficiency improvements.
- Research and evaluate new AI tools, data management techniques, and best practices applicable to G2M Testing Ltd’s operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Excel Macro programming.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Management, Data Analytics, or a related field).
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is a plus but not essential.
- Familiarity with data processing and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Basic understanding of database management concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
