JOB SALARY: £23,000-25,000

ROLE DUTIES

  • You’ll have the chance to contribute to the development of groundbreaking new software where you’ll work on both the frontend & backend
  • You’ll work at home (or be a digital nomad), but expect plenty of interaction with this leftfield & dynamic team. There’ll be daily catch ups via video, & face to face meetings once a month to once a week. You’ll also have an opportunity to get outstanding personal growth with this multi-award-winning company
  • You will have the exciting opportunity & support to learn new technologies and frameworks that we use as part of our platform
  • You will actively contribute & have a voice with the development of new features & products. Eventually you’ll also have the opportunity to own & manage products

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • You have graduated or will be graduating this year with a degree in a Web Development or Computer Science course
  • You have experience using JavaScript and/or Python • You’re able to work from home & can travel if needed
  • Dedicated to delivery high quality products that make a positive impact with our users • Resourcefulness, initiative & ability to resolve issues through elegant & innovative solutions
  • You understand object oriented programming & agile methodology
  • You have strong interpersonal & communication skills and can work as part of a team

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Any examples of your side projects that showcases your technical proficiency
  • Experience and interest with design
  • Any experience using a modern JS web-framework like Angular, React or Vue.js
  • Any experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Node.js, .NET & Rails
  • Experience or an interest with full-stack development. We encourage and support all our developers to be able to grow and eventually contribute to every part of our applications
  • Some familiarity with RESTful web service APIs
  • An understanding of functional programming and its pros & cons
  • Any experience with D3.js, Bootstrap and Docker
