ABOUT INNERDRIVE
InnerDrive is a mental skills company that uses psychological research to help people improve their mindset, learning and key skills needed to perform under pressure. The company works across three main areas: Education, Sport and Business.
Within education, we are the market leaders in running school workshops. This sees us work with over 200 schools, running presentations to over 30,000 students. In sport, clients have included members of Team GB at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Games, as well as many footballers from Manchester United, Tottenham, West Ham, Southampton and Brighton as well as having worked with senior internationals from England, Scotland, Wales and Japan. In business, we have worked with the likes of Microsoft, Pfizer and Mitsubishi on how to develop resilience and growth mindset with their employees.
ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting and rare opportunity has emerged to join the InnerDrive team at our London office on a sandwich placement year. As a result of this placement, the successful candidate will have greatly improved their understanding of implementing computer science practices in the real world. Furthermore, this candidate will be viewed upon favourably should they wish to apply for a full-time role at InnerDrive upon graduation.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
• Website development (HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript)
• Coding on our HubSpot Customer Management and blogging back-end
• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
• Assisting our course designers with online module development
ABOUT YOU
This is a rare opportunity as it is the first time we have offered this role. We are therefore looking for an exceptional candidate. We define exceptional as:
• Are a competent coder with attention to detail
• Are curious and willing to learn on the job
• Are aware of SEO best practices (Helpful but would be happy to teach this)
• Is willing to do more than what is normally expected. This includes demonstrating thorough preparation, determination after setbacks and have high levels of motivation to achieve
• Having a strong passion for computer science
• Someone who has a growth mindset and is open to feedback
• Solution focused and has the ability work independently
• Can follow instruction and adapt their style to quickly fit into our culture
