The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable undergraduates pursing a Bachelors or Masters degree to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Partner with the best

Our internship will provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E). You’ll participate in technically focused training, team meetings and work on projects and present your results. During your internship you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure that you have a valuable learning experience.

As an Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset
  • Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
  • Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
  • Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Master’s degree in any of the following subjects: Computer science, Digital & Interaction Design, Mathematical Engineering, Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering, Management Engineering or in courses related to Software Engineering, Data science (Machine Learning and Deep Learning), IoT, Cyber Security, Block-Chain etc.
  • Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
  • Be in your in your final or penultimate year of degree studies
  • Be fluent in oral and written English
  • Have the legal right to work without restrictions in a full time capacity

Digital Technology

We are based in Vauxhall in London and combine office-based with remote working and occasional work from customer site across the UK.

Role Description:

We offer opportunities for new and recent graduates. You will work closely with our experienced consultants, developing technical and consulting skills through a mix of on the job training and workshops run by our domain experts. You will deliver projects that range from technical de-risk and early stage proof of concept to developing new ideas and approaches in digital policing. As we are a small, rapidly growing business, you will also have an opportunity to contribute to our internal processes and systems as we grow.

You will have the opportunity to try out different roles, ranging from business analyst to technical consultant and have the chance to develop a wide range of skills.

You will be working within a team of people who are passionate about the work they do and the role we play in helping our clients to make the UK a safer place, tackle crime and safeguard vulnerable people. Role Description:

At Principle One we offer a ten-week paid summer internship beginning in July. In this role, you will get involved in systems engineering, software development and business change projects for our customers and partner organisations and will be mentored by our experienced staff to develop your skills with a focus on teamwork and problem solving. You will learn about all aspects of systems engineering and have the chance to develop your skills in business analysis, software development and agile delivery.

We are seeking applicants with a strong academic track record; ideally in a STEM subject but we are also open to candidates from broader backgrounds with a strong interest in working in the Law Enforcement sector.
