Student requirements: This internship is open to Newcastle University students due to graduate in 2025 and have experience using WordPress

Dates and times: This internship will take place for 50 hours between the November 2024 – February 2025. There may be the potential for the internship to extend into a gradate role for the right candidate. Weekly hours will be flexible around your course. The internship will take place both at business premises and remotely.
Bursary/wage: £625 Bursary
Role overview: We are looking for a Web Developer Intern (WordPress), to join our existing team at Sleeky Web Design & Print Ltd. This is a great opportunity for a student to gain digital industry experience and potentially a full time / permanent position if successful during their internship. You will benefit from on-the-job training, tutorials and work shadowing, as well as mentoring from the Managing Director and other members of the team.

Bursary/wage: £625 Bursary
Role overview: We are looking for an intern to evaluate and optimise our online presence by reviewing and suggesting improvements for our websites. This will involve the creation and management of content across our websites and social media platforms to drive engagement and support our marketing strategies. You’ll assist in reorganising our online resources, improving content presentation, and optimising for visibility with our target audience.

Role title, company name: Realising Opportunities Ambassador, Newcastle University
Student requirements: This internship is open to all undergraduate Newcastle University students.
Closing date: 17/11/2024
Dates and times: This internship is expected to be for a total of 350 hours. You will approximately 8 hours per week between January and October 2025. Working days and times are flexible.
Bursary/wage: £14.29 per hour including holiday pay
Role overview: We are looking to recruit a RO Ambassador to help with supporting our students throughout their first year of the Realising Opportunities (RO) programme. RO is a national programme for Year 12 and 13 students involving some of the country’s leading research-intensive universities, aiming to support students from backgrounds currently underrepresented in Higher Education.
