Our goal is to create a team that is world leading in artificial intelligence, machine learning, image analysis, computer vision and secure use of facial recognition.

Our core team consist of experts in machine learning from NTNU, software engineering experts with experience from large international software companies, and business experts with experience from successful start-ups. We operate our own public API and help our customers operate our solutions in their data-centers.

We need developers that takes responsibility for developing, improving and sustaining our mobile SDK and SDK strategy for Android and IOS, and engineers that want to further develop and improve our identification and authentication backend, and drive, improve and automate our devops process.

We do not use one specific framework, and our customers uses a variety of frameworks and deliver their apps in different ways. We also have white label apps that we use as examples and for demo purposes.

Backend biometrics services are delivered as a container based micro service solution based on several different technologies. As our team grows the need to streamline, automate and improve our devops process becomes extremely important. We care about devops, and our goal is to automate everything, test everything, measure everything, and keep improving.

We currently want to fill two positions that cover apps, backend and devops, and help us create the best products and services in the field of identification and authentication using biometrics and facial recognition.

We are always looking for people with an interest in computer vision, facial recognition, IT-security and biometry. Mobai work with professors and researchers at NTNU and one options is to do a Ph.D in combination with working for Mobai.

We do not expect you to know everything, but we expect that you want to contribute, learn, make decisions and drive us forward to the service everyone use for identification and authentication. All employees have the option of buying stock.

Call-out for Unity VR Developers / Unity VFX Artists for an Immersive VR Experience titled ”Network”.

“Network” looks at the ways in which trees communicate underground through a vast fungal network. An artistic, immersive VR experience, it allows the player to inhabit an entirely different perspective, one which explores the interconnectedness of nature, the universe, and of us.

The project is funded via the StoryFutures Academy, and will end up as a playable experience in the Playstore, and be sent to VR and animation festivals around the world. The team consists of recent NFTS graduates, who are all working on a volunteer basis, so as to see as much of the budget in the game, and to pay our collaborators.

We are currently looking for a Unity VR Developer and a Unity VFX Artist (or someone who can do both) to board the project.

Both are at-home-positions, and would require own home set-ups. Experience is required.

Unity VR Developer:

The Unity VR Developer will be expected to take lead on the development and coding of the prototype, beta and alpha version of the game. This will be done, with the aid of our two Game Designers, Guy Sargent and Kamal Shaddad, who will be overseeing the process and help the developer with the build, a few hours a week.

Contract term: From start May-late July, with the delivery of a prototype by end of May and the final product by end of July. Hours can be flexible and part-time.

Fee: Flat fee of £4.000 with a bit of room for negotiation.

Unity VFX Artist

The Unity VFX Artist needs to be skilled in particle effects, have an understanding of dynamics, and be able to work within Unity. This will be done, with the aid of our two Game Designers, Guy Sargent and Kamal Shaddad, and our Art Director Leto Meade, who will be part of creating the environment of the game and help see it through to implementation.

Contract term: From late May-late July. Hours can be flexible and part-time.

Fee: Flat fee of £3.000 with a bit of room for negotiation.

If we were to find someone to do both, we’d of course be happy to negotiate a decent fee covering both.

We hope we have caught your interest.
