Junior Software Developer – AIS Neutron VRT

We are looking to hire a full-time junior developer to bolster our product development team. As a junior developer you will be joining a small, dedicated development team where you will develop across a wide range of advanced training and competency products designed for the Oil and Gas Industry. To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

  • To be a recent graduate in the related field (Computer Science, Software Development, etc.) or a junior developer with commercial coding experience.
  • A strong knowledge of Object Orientated Programming.
  • Experience with C#, .NET Framework (Core/Standard), ASP.NET MVC
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational database design patterns.

Desirably, you will have experience in the following:

  • JavaScript.
  • Cross-platform native technologies (Xamarin, Mono, Web Assembly, Platform Uno).
  • Native mobile development experience.
  • Cloud Computing Services (Azure, AWS).
  • MS SQL Server 2016.

Husqvarna Group – Graduate Software Engineer Vacancy

This role requires a self-motivated software Engineer with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and a knowledge and interest in Software Engineering.  This position is a supporting role within the factory working in the Engineering Department.

The role involves the maintenance and development of the production testing software used in the manufacture of Husqvarna’s  Robotic Lawnmowers.

Key tasks

  • Writing programmes used in the testing of our Robotic lawnmowers.
  • Additional duties will include writing programmes (front end user interface) that can interact with databases and or spreadsheets. These programmes would have to defeat unwelcome user activity and be easy to use and understand. These programmes could show data on PC’s or large monitors that are positioned around the plant.  We currently write the programmes using Visual studio  using C++ C# and visual basic and Python scripts.
  • The role will involve programme maintenance at the front end of a busy manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills/Qualifications Required

Degree in  Computer Science related subjects such as Computing or Information and Communication Technologies.

We are looking for a Computer Engineer to join our Gateshead HQ with travel to our brand new Malta office. You will maintain and enhance our current operating platforms on our Energy Management System and work with our application development team to integrate new applications into the network working with a per second, live billing platform. You will be responsible for collaborating with the Network Architect to work out the details involved with developing and implementing new network segments. You will also be asked to occasionally offer support to the executive staff for internal network issues and mobile computing challenges.

This is a temporary position with an immediate start and will involve extensive travel to our offices in Malta and India. All costs will be covered by NGP Ltd. You will work very closely with our UX & UI developers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
TCP/IP Internet exposure and some knowledge of ARP/RIP
C++ and JAVA programming exposure preferred
Exposure with IP PBX system development and support
Demonstrated ability in network troubleshooting utilizing tools such as TCPdu
