Asura is a young business that is due to grow exponentially over the coming few years. Experience / Skills
- 2:1 or above Computer Science Degree or equivalent required
- Alternatively – candidates that have completed courses provided by others will be reviewed
- Knowledge and experience of HTML, CSS, and Javascript required
- Knowledge and experience of Typescript, Nuxt with Vue, Tailwind, and Storybook desirable
- Industry experience desirable
- Knowledge of the financial sector preferable but the company is willing to provide training through CISI if suitable
Job Description
Asura Financial Technologies are seeking to recruit a Junior Software Developer to join our fast-growing software development team. Asura manage circa 10bn EUR of investment assets and provide technology solutions to major stockbroking, and wealth management firms globally.
As a Junior Software Developer, you will be ‘buddied’ with a more experienced Developer where your focus will mirror the work of your buddy. Within a 3-month period we would expect you to have progressed each Performance Gatepost, so you are able to develop with greater autonomy.
Main Activities / Responsibilities
- Learning best practice development for financial technology
- Mid to High level development tasks as set by the lead developer
