Software Developer (.NET / JavaScript / Big Data)

The Organisation:

The company is a big data technology firm based in the Software Centre at Sunderland.  We have developed a unique software product helping close the skills gap between industry and education.  We put right information in front of decision makers in education, government and private sector firms – helping them design curriculum, recruit, retain and train staff with the right skills in the right locations.

The Role:

The organisation is keen to recruit a talented Software Developer to help further develop their web services and full-stack software systems from .NET/Azure hosted web services through to back end data crawlers and python machine learning services running on Google cloud.  If you are currently in a tech consultancy or agency but looking for a product-based role then this would be the perfect opportunity for you.

You will help build our Web and Mobile application stack out and gain experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing algorithm development and not be afraid of taking on new challenges and languages when needed.

Any experience in the following would be an advantage but if you have other skillsets we can still have a conversation if you are willing to learn:

  1. .NET front end with Angular JavaScript skills are essential
  2. Web services, API integration, REST, JSON
  3. Any mobile dev on native or IONIC frameworks helpful
  4. Data Modelling experience in SQL and NoSQL a bonus
  5. Unix/Linux/Python skills to any level a bonus.

You will work with a talented team of Consultants and tech experts and be part of the growing team creating cutting edge technology.  Get in touch with support@geektalent.com to book an interview with your CV or linkedin profile details.
