Qualifications:
Essential:
• A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant numerical degree with working knowledge of mathematics and statistics e.g. data science, computer science, geospatial science, mathematics, statistics, physics, chemistry, engineering or related technical subject. Those with equivalent experience are also actively encouraged to apply.

Desirable:
• A higher degree (MSc or PhD) in a related subject is desirable although we are also keen to hear from those with equivalent experience.

Important Information
Our work in defence, security and intelligence requires our employees to be UK Nationals who are able to gain a high level of security clearance to undertake the projects we are involved in to protect us from security threats. For this reason, only UK Nationals will be able to apply for this role. Work location
Dstl is strongly encouraging blended and flexible working either at one of our sites or from home or both. To help translate ideas and concepts into visual representations, which can then be used for customer demonstrations. To take wireframe designs and mockups and design a basic MVP product using frontend HTML pages and, depending on individual ability, backend PHP functionality.

It could be a full time or initially a summer placement of 10 week.


Essential Experience
● Experience designing product wireframes & mockups
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Competent with computers, the internet and web browsers
