Mobai are are looking for developers that want to build world class products based on Norwegian technology. Mobai is a spin-off from Norwegian Biometric Laboratory at NTNU Gjøvik. We make systems for identification and authentication using biometrics in the form of facial recognition. Our goal is to create a team that is world leading in artificial intelligence, machine learning, image analysis, computer vision and secure use of facial recognition.

Our core team consist of experts in machine learning from NTNU, software engineering experts with experience from large international software companies, and business experts with experience from successful start-ups. Mobai have several deliverables to customers and research projects in the near future and want to grow our team with skilled people who want to help build the solutions everyone use to identify and authenticate. We use modern methods and technology like machine learning, Docker, Kubernetes and Azure.

Mobai offices are in Mustad Næringspark in Gjøvik and Start-up Lab in Oslo. We are flexible with working from home, but candidates need to be able to work from the Gjøvik office from time to time.

Our goal is that Mobai is the preferred technology in all identification processes like border crossing and identification in banks. Identity and authentication solutions are delivered as app SDK’s and demo apps for Android and IOS, web apps, and native clients, all using our micro service based backend API. We operate our own public API and help our customers operate our solutions in their data-centers.

We need developers that takes responsibility for developing, improving and sustaining our mobile SDK and SDK strategy for Android and IOS, and engineers that want to further develop and improve our identification and authentication backend, and drive, improve and automate our devops process.

Positions
For our App SDK we want someone with experience from app development, preferably with app SDK’s and library development on IOS/Android. We do not use one specific framework, and our customers uses a variety of frameworks and deliver their apps in different ways. We also have white label apps that we use as examples and for demo purposes.

Backend biometrics services are delivered as a container based micro service solution based on several different technologies. As our team grows the need to streamline, automate and improve our devops process becomes extremely important. We care about devops, and our goal is to automate everything, test everything, measure everything, and keep improving.

We currently want to fill two positions that cover apps, backend and devops, and help us create the best products and services in the field of identification and authentication using biometrics and facial recognition.

We are always looking for people with an interest in computer vision, facial recognition, IT-security and biometry. Mobai work with professors and researchers at NTNU and one options is to do a Ph.D in combination with working for Mobai.

We do not expect you to know everything, but we expect that you want to contribute, learn, make decisions and drive us forward to the service everyone use for identification and authentication. All employees have the option of buying stock.

Junior Front End Software Developer Role

Our company Reclaro https://reclaro.com/  is looking for a Junior Front End Software Developer to join our SaaS start-up and form a software development team. In this role, you will collaborate with our lead developer / head of product to design web applications and programs. Part of these responsibilities include writing and debugging code, so we are looking for applicants having some experience with Vue, HTML, Javascript, CSS, SCSS and Git. Plus, an understanding of good “design and UX”.

Junior Software Developer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other team members and lead developer to design, build, and maintain applications

Junior Software Developer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

  • We have a co-working space in Newcastle upon Tyne NE1
  • You would be required to come into the office for the odd meeting and month-end team reviews
  • You can work from home most of the time if that suits you better, we’re happy with flexible working hours
  • You will have a say in the direction of our product and be an important member of our small start-up team
  • You will also have a say in shaping our overall business
  • You will receive regular 121’s and also work closely with our Founder as well as our Head of Product

What will I be doing? •

  • Providing friendly 1st line and some 2nd line support for employees of all levels on a variety of IT issues
  •  Escalating problems to the relevant team or provider where required
  •  Preparation and issuing of IT Equipment, such as laptops and phones, for new and existing employees
  •  Supporting mobile phone issues mostly for iOS • User account management (Password resets, unlocking, licensing etc.)
  •  Act as “Smart Hands” to support hardware for externally managed services
  •  Ordering, issuing, and unblocking of company ID & access cards
  •  Office 365 support and troubleshooting
  •  Keeping asset records accurate and up to date
  •  Assisting with the promotion and implementation of local IT projects
  •  Assisting with the promotion and implementation of SGRE strategic IT Projects
