Responsibilities:

  • Work with digital strategy, content, development, and design teams to ensure successful on-page optimisations on websites
  • Perform keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
  • Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
  • Develops an understanding of and relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Typically 0-2 years experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience or understanding of software systems design tools and languages. Experience working with any of these website analytics and SEO tools: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Moz, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
  • Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language

The Role

  • Develop, implement and debug server code and associated tools across the ZeroLight platform.
  • Assist with the development of new graphics features whilst enhancing our cutting-edge real time Virtual Environment rendering engine.
  • Write clear, maintainable and optimal code.
  • Design and implement software that pushes the limits of what’s possible in order to create world leading visualisation products
  • Work closely with artists and programmers to develop advanced techniques for producing cutting edge visual effects
  • Develop technology on state-of-the-art high specification PC hardware
  • Test and refine project features throughout the development cycle of the project

The Requirements

The Role

 

  • Assist with building and maintaining cutting edge web applications and supporting existing web products.
  • Translating concepts and requirements into high quality web applications.
  • Ability to apply design principals to produce creative web templates that fit with the ZeroLight brand.
  • Blending fast paced development with quick turnaround times with attention to detail, resulting in a high-quality product.

 

The Person

 

  • Proficient using Javascript, React, CSS/SCSS & HTML.
  • Other desirable technologies include TypeScript, VueJS & Webpack.
  • Experience using Python or C# would be beneficial.
  • Creative and quick problem solver who can communicate effectively across various teams including commercial and development.
  • An enthusiastic attitude to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a quality first approach to what is developed.
